I was born in a small town in Poland, Szczecinek, where I spent my early years playing sports, soccer, tennis, biking and helping on my uncle’s farm near town. At the age of 14, I moved to the beautiful port city of Gdansk by the Baltic Sea, where I attended Technical College. There, among the spectacular architecture and many interesting people, I was involved in a musical career and played guitar in various bands. At the age of 18, I spent one year in Austria, near Vienna, working construction and other jobs and playing soccer in my spare time. At 19, I came to Edmonton where I have lived ever since.

Reading: favorite Plato’s Republic – a mind opener, Hyperspace by Michio Kaku, The Essential Tao and Confucius by Thomas Clearly, Buffettology, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsing ( great reading ), as a kid : Robinson Crusoe and Lord of the Rings
